Malacca - Part 1
I've got warm fuzzy feelings right now. Just spent the better part of the past 2 days editting and compiling a photo slide show of my day trip to Malacca with most of my Mom's side of the family.. yes, 1 grandpa, 2 parents, 3 uncles, 4 aunts, 5 cousins, my sis and i ;p *phew*

Just CLICK HERE or HERE to redirect to a page where you can download the photo slide-show.

This time it's a pretty big file so i zipped it (it's still a pretty big file - 30MB). Please please please be patient with the download time.. still trying to figure out a faster way to load these things on me blog! Anyways, there are more download insturctions on the redirected page so i won't bore you with those details here.

In the mean time, some teaser shots...

Graduation!!
Grace has officially graduated from Limkokwing University College of Creative Technology on the 15th of July 2006! *woo-hoo* FINALLY! At the graduation, there were 7 of us from the original group of students that we started out with 3 years ago.. and we were all giddy happy to finish together :) There was a small sad moment too as we remembered some friends who left us along the way... :(

Mudita's happy-meal-yellow shoes :D

Group shot in the waiting area... L-R: Hanom, Rudiyanto, Riska, Mudita, Me(!!) & Farah.

X-ray Vision...
So i messed up my toe and my knee yesterday when i fell (yes, again) on the steps in uni and had to go for an x-ray.. was actually quite excited bout the whole x-ray thing. Can't quite remember when was the last time i took one. maybe when i was a kid?? Anyways, the doc thought it might be broken, hence the x-ray.

Was talking with Benji while waiting and we came to the conclusion that a broken toe was not a very cool "first-broken-body-part" story... quite malu la actually, others are like "i broke a hand, broke a foot, fractured an elbow. i... broke a toe" ;p *potong steam* but at least it's better than "i broke a nail? does that count?" *heh*

The X-ray of my cacat toe :D

Thankfully though, my ego was saved and the x-ray showed that it was probably only a strain - which is frustrating cos i can't do anything but sit and wait for it too sort itself out (now why does that line sound familiar?*wonders*).

Oh well, seems to be that there are a lotta things at the mo that i have to ride out.. been thinking a lot lately. Feeling moody, contemplative and angst-y at the moment. Sorta took a step back and looked at myself and saw some things i didn't like *sigh* time for me to mope again... i'm in a bit of a 'i-hate-myself' mood so yeah... *blek*

Looking for the light...

I'm Published!.. well sorta
The other day, my mom picked up an article in The Sun newspaper's EXTRA! pull-out section on The Oral Stage whom i shot for a couple o months back during their ROJAK! production.

Mom : Girl ah... eh you went to take pictures for them right? See see...
Girl : Hmm..? *runs and looks at article* Eeeeeeee! My pics! *hee*

Was quite excited to have my pics published in a local newspaper although was a bit bummed that there were no photo creds
:( *sigh* Oh well.. have to say it's been a while since i've seen any of my shots in print. Really should get round to printing some stuff out ;p

Been thinking alot lately about what i really wanna do after i graduate on the 15th (wow, this Sat... time flies), where i wanna go, what to study... considering whether or not to finish my degree in Interior Design or to persue a new one in Photo-journalism or something
:(

Been thinking alot also about friends and family and people who i already miss... i hate transition periods *blek*

Taken at Olympiarch 2006, Johor. At the end of the closing ceremony, everyone came on stage to sing the event theme song.. it was a bittersweet sort of time. Was just suddenly hit by this wave of sadness thinking about the fact that this would be my last event with my uni and the other student board members :( Missing everyone already...

Also realised today that Internet Explorer makes my blog look cacat and blows up the wording to an ugly size :( So please, if you have Mozilla Firefox, use that browser instead =D!

I Look Freaky
I need to stop taking sugar... it goes straight to my head *wheee* :D

Was at Laundry Bar last night with Ray and Albert.. they make the cutest couple! *heheh* Albert was showing off all his gadgets and toys *i want* which i happily snatched up and played with (omg, that sounds wrong - Raymond...you're contagious!! *argh*). Anyways i got a bit excited over his IR hacked camera... coolness.. everyone looks better on IR mode! We took the art of cam-whoring to a whole new level last night. It's been a while since i've had the opportunity to be so poyo so freely. Still waiting for Alb to send over the shots i took but meanwhile... here are some fun shots taken last night. Love IR... LOVE IT!!

The many faces of RayRay...

Albert sucks... literally ;)

I can't take this anymore! Too much posing...ahhhhhh...

had a bad day again..
Another penalty shoot out - *poof* England's gone. Then Brasil too?!?!?

i have to stop watching this horrible horrible game :( *sigh* For some reason, this year's World Cup seems to be playing more like an evening soap rather than an athlethic sport.. so much drama so much suspense... it's all so friggin rigged!! ...or not. I'm just riled up cos now i have no real reason to keep watching the game *pft*...
